an expressive artist and art therapist.
I am passionate about bringing the transformative power of creative living to everyone.
Outside of the clinical environment, I offer local and virtual expressive art workshops and virtual creative accompaniment for one-on-one personal growth. My practice and guidance integrates psychoeducation, a therapeutic approach to art, and a hands-on enthusiasm for creative exploration.
I hold a Master's in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling. I am inspired by the many ways that art + healing interact.

What is art therapy?
Art therapy is mental health discipline that invites creative processes into the work of therapy. It involves a trained and registered art therapist, mental health client, and art media working together to support treatment goals.

How are your workshops different than art therapy?
The biggest difference: my workshops are not group therapy, or a substitute for mental health treatment. I share principles from art therapy and share the belief of many art therapists: that creativity is good for wellbeing and healthy expression.
My workshops give participants a taste for expressive art, and tools to use creativity in their own healing journey. I help people lean into the process of making art, which aligns more like art therapy than an educational class on art technique.
I strive to provide supplementary support to your mental health pursuits, offering you space to play, ground, and connect with yourself.
What if I need therapeutic support?
My workshops are meant to be supportive, but they are not meant to be a replacement for therapy. I encourage anyone in need of mental health support or direct therapeutic services to seek out proper care.
Therapeutic art opportunities and workshops can be a great way to explore how you might benefit from art therapy. For those already on a healing journey of some kind, I am happy to come alongside existent treatment and provide nonclinical, supplemental support. While I hold space for all experiences shared, I am unable to offer therapeutic services at the time of workshop. Thank for understanding!
